Ben Miller, Executive Director

  • The Executive Director, Ben Miller, maintains the seamless function of the camp every day. He oversees the camp's financial and administrative matters, ensuring that the staff team remains productive and uses the camp's resources wisely. Ben is dedicated to advancing Camp Illiana's mission, proactively seeking additional support and assets to ensure its development and long-term success. He serves as the face of the camp in interactions with ministry partners and the local community, working to create a nurturing atmosphere where both campers and staff have the opportunity to grow in their faith journey with Jesus.

Wade Family

Jennessa Wade, Experience Director

  • As the Experience Director, Jennessa Wade is committed to ensuring that every attendee has an exceptional time at camp. She adeptly juggles the intricacies of administrative duties while also making sure that our summer camps and collaborative events run smoothly. Her role also includes assisting Ben Miller, the Executive Director, helping to move Camp Illiana forward. A leader in camp operations, Jennessa is hands-on and always thinking ahead to maintain the high standards of the Camp Illiana experience.

Kaelyn Goodwin, Hospitality Director 

  • The Hospitality Director, Kaelyn Goodwin, upholds and enhances the hospitality at Camp Illiana. She is responsible for managing the food and beverage services and oversees the maintenance of the camp's grounds. Her commitment is central to making sure that our facilities are always clean, safe, and conducive to an outstanding guest experience. Kaelyn works hard to ensure that we strive towards providing a memorable experience for every camper and volunteer at the camp.

Ian Goodwin

Ashlyn Hunley, Activities Director

  • The Activities Director, Ashlyn Hunley, is at the forefront of designing and managing Camp Illiana's diverse range of camp activities in this distinctive gap year internship. Ashlyn is in charge of planning recreational timetables, overseeing the Annual Golf Scramble, and spearheading the recruitment of summer staff. She actively works with other teams, notably the Hospitality and Creative teams, striving to ensure Camp Illiana remains a vital contributor to the ministries and families that depend on our services.
