Through Jesus, God has invited His children to talk to Him. Talking to God is no small thing, it is through His grace that He has made a way for us. We go to God to praise Him, to thank him, in times of grief, stress, and joy. Here at Camp Illiana, we recognize prayer as life-changing.

What do you do?

Before you begin to pray with us please scroll down to learn more about our prayer points. As you pray allow these 8 prayers guide you

  1. God, please quiet my mind and allow me to focus on You and Your will during this time of prayer.

    Take a few minutes to silence your mind, focus on God, praise Him for who He is.

  2. God, thank you for all you are already doing at Camp Illiana.

  3. God, please guide those in leadership positions at Camp Illiana to be obedient to You and continue to make decisions to further Your Kingdom work at Camp Illiana.

  4. God, direct the campers to camp that need to experience You. Help each Camper's experience here at camp be transformative and life changing.

  5. God, lead the volunteers to Camp that would sacrificially serve you in every way throughout their life.

  6. God, will you lead the proper summer staff to Camp Illiana to use their gifts according to Your will.

  7. God, guide the correct summer missionaries to us. Allow our campers' hearts to be open to their mission and for the campers to learn more and give cheerfully to the mission.

  8. God, as each person prepares to speak here at Camp Illiana, guide them in their preparation process and their words as they speak.

Take a few minutes to thank God for this time of prayer and allow God to speak to you and elaborate on any of these points as He speaks to You.
